At Elite we welcome international students to our campuses. The decision to study at a new institution in a new country can feel rather daunting. When students from other countries come to study at Elite it is important that those students are well informed, safe, and properly cared for.

Elite provides facilities, services, support and advice to help you adjust and to provide you with a positive and successful learning experience. Our supportive and friendly staff and tutors are ready to assist you.

How to Apply?

You can manage the entire enrolment process online by visiting Enroller, our online application portal.

Minimum statutory requirements (may vary depending on programme)

  • Applicants must be 18 years or over and are required to attend a personal interview.
  • International students must have a minimum of IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5. in writing (within the last two years). This may vary, please see your programme requirements. 
  • (Please note the language tests are not allowed to be any older than 2 years from date of enrolment)

International Payments

Flywire is a safe and convenient way to make international payments. Depending on your location, payment options can include local bank transfer (telegraphic transfer), credit card, e-payments, e-wallets, and more. Receive email/SMS text alerts updating you on the status of your payment, or track the progress of your payment online or in Flywire’s app. If you need help to complete your payment, contact flywire.com/support.

Immigration

Full details of immigration requirements, advice on rights to employment in New Zealand while studying, and reporting requirements are available from Immigration New Zealand.

Eligibility for Health Services

Most international students are not entitled to publicly funded health services while in New Zealand. If you receive medical treatment during your visits, you may be liable for the full costs of that treatment. Full details on entitlements to publicly funded health services are available through the Ministry of Health.

Accident Insurance

The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) provides accident insurance for all New Zealand citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand, but you may still be liable for all other medical and related costs.
